North Sound OSTOMY

WELCOME OSTOMATES!

The North Sound Ostomy Support Group is a non-profit, volunteer-based support group dedicated to promoting quality of life for people with ostomies or continent diversions and their caregivers and families through information, support, advocacy, and collaboration.

We serve the South Skagit, Snohomish, and North King counties in Washington State.

Do you have questions about having an Ostomy? Be sure to check our Resources section.

GATHERINGS

We get together on the third Monday of the month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Snohomish County PUD Electric Building Headquarters in Everett. You may also attend virtually via Zoom. All are invited to bring their spouse, family members, and friends.

We are also having a Coffee Baggers social meetup every second Saturday of the month from 10 to 11 a.m, at local coffee shops in the area.

UOAA VIRTUAL OSTOMY CLINIC

Ostomies change bodies and lives. People living with an ostomy need personalized suggestions and ongoing support from medical experts who really understand ostomies. In the healthcare system today, too many ostomates do not have the regular access to a certified ostomy nurse they need for a successful health journey. This is why UOAA has partnered with The Wound Company – to bring certified ostomy nurses to ostomates and their caregivers across the United States virtually.
